31st August.
Today we had to change units as we only had five days on the lagoon side.
11.00am was check out so left the unit and went down to the pool after dropping our bags off at the desk to store for us as we can't get unto the next unit until 4.00pm. We hung out there until 3.00pm then went down to the shops to do a little food shopping getting back just after 4.00pm. Collected our bags and went up to our new unit room 2008 twentieth floor on the yacht harbour side.
This is the nice shady nook around the pool where we hung out in between units. It was a good spot as we had plenty of shade.

We arrived up to unit 2008. Wow what a view as you walk through the door looking straight out to sea over the yacht club. This unit was very welcoming as soon as we walked in, you could instantly feel it was going to be well catered for .Even chocolates on the bench, Heaps of towels, beach towels sheets etc. The last unit had two bath towels and just the sheets on the bed. We feel really settled here very comfy and a view to die for. Beautiful sunsets to look forward to. This afternoon turned a bit cloudy so not good for the sun setting but I am sure I will get a good photo before we leave. This unit also has a dishwasher ( Des you wouldn't like this unit!!!! ) excellent A/C not like the other unit old, noisy and useless. It didn't cool the place at all. It also has a good ceiling fan. All very nice we are going to enjoy this place and PT can watch the planes take off and land in the distance. It even has a printer and paper.
Unit 2008 Massive bed with mirrored wardrobe doors. We are scared that we may walk thru it as it looks like a continuation of the room.

1st September.
Lazy this morning stayed in to watch some tennis till mid-day then got on the bus down to the Ward centre where there are many well known shops. We went to the Sports Authority shop yesterday where PT brought one of these easy breath T-shirt brand Under Armour. We decided he should get another so that's why we went back today. Just so I wasn't out done I brought a ladies one too. (in fact 2. PT)
It is Labour Day weekend , Sunday today so tomorrow a holiday so won't do much as everywhere including the buses are very busy. Probably just watch some tennis and swim. Tough life.
I know the blog is boring as we haven't done a lot, but that's what this holiday is all about. Not like touring round Europe with plenty to write about. This is why I have been doing two days together.
Viv, thanks for the E and your ideas as to how to keep cool without having to put my head in the freezer. We feel we have adjusted a lot better to the heat now not like the first few days, exhausting. And yes the buses do have A/C.
Had another meal in tonight and an alcohol free drink on the balcony, very pleasant.
